The latest project that i have been working on is a vase. I haven't worked with clay all year so i am very pleased with how it turned out. Some say it looks like a fish if turned sideways...but i am going to wood fire the piece so hopefully it turns out great ....its like this piece but smaller and smooth...with closed handles on either side
My first wheel thrown piece this year was sort of a disaster ah ha but im glad yours turned out bettter. Ill check it out in class tommorrow.. I also would wood fire it since there is a firing going down.. but have you ever tried a pit firing? i this vases look pretty GNAR after soaked in a tea and wood fired.
